You can always pay at the track, but we prefer payment ahead of time. We can reserve your spot for sure, and it helps give us an idea of how it will turn out. I know that this event will be much larger than our last one. We got some good media coverage and lot more interests in the event I will still cap out the event at 35 cars.

I think I'm going to make it to this one. Depends on whether or not I get my wiring back together and my suspension actually set up. I'm not taking out any wiring that's important so that should be easy and the suspension setup just requires me to stop being a lazy shite.
Oh, and if I'm doing OK as far as school goes... I don't even know if I got into CSUF and it's like a week and a half away, lol. Girlfriend wants to see me drive/go for a ride on the track. |

Hello HTM is a nice track, just stay within your levle & gradually work the speed up. The sweeper can be intimidating at first until you get the line down.It is slightly decreasing radius with a cliff on the outside. Then the downhill , DO NOT DO NOT overshoot this corner. You will understand once your there. The rest is all second gear. I gotta hurry up & redo my entire cooling system, damn time is flying by. SEE YA THERE

I was just about to type up a reply just like this. HTM is a great track, you just have to take it easy and not push yourself to the limit immediately... which is what I did. I want to go again, but I have a little bit of fear in the back of my mind now and I don't trust myself... haha but if funds allow, and I can get work off, I will definately try to make it to this one. I'll have my welded diff in for this event too, if I make it.. which leads to a question I have... Will having a welded diff in my car make it hard for me to grip HTM?

Hello ,well in terms of a welded diff,I have one in my car. It can make being quick hard if you do not have a good feel for when you start to overdrive the front tires and/or burn off the rears. Also the other quirk with the LINCOLN LOCKER ,is that on sweeping corners that require a constant throttle application you will naturally pick up a push, then if you give it more throttle your gonna get snap oversteer. (NOTE all of this depends on total car setup how bad or good it can perform). Also depending on the grip levle available you cant get on the throttle as soon on corner exit, as a real LSD cause all of your slip coms from actuall wheel spin, wich doesnt move you forward(loss of time). IMHO you gotta know how to work the tires/drive it, to be as quick as an equally prepared car/driver with a properly functioning LSD. For a tight /small course like this its OK, but I was on BIG WILLOW & turn 8 & 9 with the LINCOLN LOCKER is a NO GO,you can not be fast cause the car constantly wants to step out on you in a 5th gear sweeper

awesome advice guys, thanks,i'll try not to go too crazy on this course, anyon know how the track will be after the drift group has gone?more slick?tire chunks everywhere or what? big willow has always seemed too crazy or scary for me haha a mess up going at those speeds without a roll cage, i wouldn't want to risk it but thats just me.
