Motor is at TDC,
both cyl 1 cam lobes are sticking out away from eachother

motor has 2 exhaust cams.

Seems like the exhaust side is off a tooth and the cam gear on the intake side is rotated to far CCW.

i know The intake side (now which has the exhaust cam) should be rotated CCW 3-4 teeth.. but it looks like its spun almost 180degrees. you can seen the square knotch pointing in the 5oclock position

So is this upper chain and intake side cam gear all out of whack? or is it correct?

this is my first KA24de project as well as hot cam swap.

Some insight would be greatly appreciated

lower timing chain is also spot on
