Need to know about vanity plate (spacer) for 5 speed transmission (ka24de)
Alright, so i swapped a manual tranny to a, what used to be, automatic ka. I didnt have a vanity plate for it and was left with an exposed flywheel. How should i go about fixing this? Is there such thing as a spacer that would only cover half of the bell housing?uploadfromtaptalk1398125916318.jpg

Go buy the manual dust cover, doesn't get any simpler than that. Also unless you have them off in the picture you are missing the lower two transmission mounting brackets and should really find those as well.

+1 You need the dust cover for sure. Get or make one. Keeps all the crap off your flywheel and clutch assembly especially if you plan on driving in rain, dusty or dirty conditions, etc.
