On the first side to side hit where the body panels just flew off it reminds me of a guy takin a dump and the outhouse flying away and sitting in the open with your pants down.

I want to say that that race should've been stopped, I mean a little rain is one thing, but the conditions there were dangerous! Kinda funny that the first two cars were both Saleens. Teammate taking out teammate. Did anyone else notice how that poor guy who got his legs taken out slid like 7-8 feet to where the other guy was hopping over the wall? The wet conditions probably saved him from more serious injury.
Total carnage though, that vid really shows you how brittle carbon fiber is. It just shatters like crackers. |

I'm speechless. Most people couldn't drive on the freeway in those conditions let alone RACE!

heres the jgtc one http://youtube.com/watch?v=UfGZ0hwuwxU
supposibly the pace car popped out of no where and some guys had to slow down really fast and one of em obiously couldnt.. you gotta consider how fast track side marshells react, its not like they are gonna be there the second it happens, so he was sitting in that burning car for a while. but he survived, jus some serious burns.

Thats beyond insane! Holy hell. I don't see how that guy survived that long without singing his lungs. If he didn't have at least a 3 layer nomex suit, he would surely be a dead man.

His arm was parylized and a bunch of other stuff like 3rd degree burns on half his body. My car caught on fire at an SCCA event and they had a the firetruck next to my car in like 15 seconds, it was there before I knew my car was on fire. I was super impressed. That wasnt even a big event like some multi million dollar JGTC event.
