NEED HELP ASAP!! Terrible grinding noise from Brakes

Hey so I have been having this terrible grinding/clunking noise coming from my front driver side brakes. Yes, I checked my pads and theyre almost new. The rotors have no abnormal wear marks or anything. The noise happens everytime the wheel makes a full rotation, like theres one spot in the rotor hitting the pads that is causing the noise. Any info as to what it can be would help. (car is a 96 if that helps...)

^ what he said.
Replace the rotor, don't bother fixing it.

Yeah, thats what I'd say it is too. If you don't want to just replace the rotor without testing it.. jack up the front wheels, then rotate the wheel you think is making the noise.. You'll obviously be able to tell if its rubbing from the test.

warped front rotors are the perfect excuse to accomplish the 300zx brake swap/upgrade. its relatively inexpensive to piece together & you have to replace your rotors anyways so you might as well go all they way & replace the calipers/pads/front lines. thats what i did anyways...

What he said. 300zx upgrade will run you around $350.

A cheaper alternative that is also a significant upgrade is the Q45 brakes. The bolt on and you can usually find calipers rotors and pads for $100-200 depending on condition.
