s13 stock wheel tire size

im not sure if this is the right section...

but i was wondering what is the widest tire i could put on my stock s13 wheels?

i was going to go with 205's but could i fit 215's?

205/60/15s fit normally. IIRC thats what came stock on SE s13's.

but 215s? just save up and get some wider wheels

its up to you. Go for what look you want, save up money then buy it right the first time. that thread i gave you should help with the size tire and the size wheel you should get as well as offset. my opinion? on a 9inch wide rim i would put 235/40/17 and 215/40 or 215/45 up front.

he wants to use his stock wheels not buy new wheels.

btw, the difference going from 195 - 215 is so minimal, just rock the stock 195s.

215s will look all balloony and look like ass

215 on a 9 inch wheel?!?!!?
Damn, the anti-stretch nazi's would be all over you for that. When I think if a wheel/tire combo like that the first thing that pops into my head is a fat guy in a little coat...the little coat (tire) is going to snap off the fat guy (wheel) eventually.
