Help on S14.5 Conversion
I have a 95' 240sx. I'm going to do a conversion to an S15. I read a couple of threads about cutting and other modifications for the fenders. I looked at Extreme-Dimensions Fenders or Masa Fenders. Can someone fill me in, on their opinion?
I already have a S14.5 conversion on the car from the previous owner but I'm not a fan of the fenders and bumper and the fitment is wrong for the bumper, because the guy used zip ties and didnt have any bracket. |

DO NOT buy extreme dimensions Fenders!! I bought some because they were less expensive however they fit so terribly it would have cost more to fix then to buy others. I ended up getting the origin labs s15 conversion 20mm over fenders with the vents which fit almost perfectly out of the package! they're a little more money but completely worth it. The difference is mostly in the fact that the origin labs ones are hand laid fiberglass.

I haven't had experience with the extreme dimensions body kits, but from what i've heard they're all similar to the quality of the fenders i got from them. There to i'd probably recommend origin labs. One of my buddy's got the origin s13 front bumper and it fit like a glove without any modifications. I personally had to get my body kit custom made by Uras in Japan and had it shipped over because they had to make the front bumper for the s15 front. It's a bit more expensive but to be unique i think it was worth it. But definitely Origin seems to be the way most people go.

I got the new duraflex s15 conversion fenders for a 95 240sx in about January. Maybe they are hand laid. Maybe they're just poor molds! I probably could have made better fenders myself. I don't know. Maybe i just got a bad set, but it certainly isn't the first time i've heard bad things either

I did, i was told that if i shipped them back you'd ship out another set. But i'd have to pay for shipping and i wasn't guaranteed that the next set would be any better then the first.
