RB s13 radiator fan stays on.. help

s13 rb20det stock.. thought i had a bad battery since the car died twice but now i notice that the radiator fan/fans stay on. temp sensor? i searched around with no luck..

how did you wire it? If it is wired with only two wires and directly to the battery that would cause it to stay on, is it wired to the thermostat relay? If it is, you may have the relay wired wrong where it is staying constantly engaged, try pulling the relay and see if the fan stops draining the battery.

I did not wire it myself but tomorrow morning I'm going to have a look at the wiring. I can. How ever tell you that it just started happening out of the blue. The fans would run only for a little while.. cut on off on then stay off. Now obviously as soon as battery is connected on it goes. Ill check in the morning on the wiring thanks

All the wiring seems normal. The fan stays on even when I disconnect the temp sensor...

Its wired to 2 fan control relays and 2 fuses. Looks like a kindergarten student did the work. Found the problem ... terrible wiring job. Woks fine now thanks guys

Wire to the ffuse that was poorly connected finally let go. I don't know a lot about wiring up this thing lucky I could tell what happened just by seeing it

welll....

After learning and further investigation on my wiring it turns out the other control unit isn't connected at all so when I connected it guess what? The fan runs.. so I follow the yellow wire straight to the battery??
