Gost cam by gobiz corp
I may become a distributor for these units, i have one in my car now. i want to see if anyone is interested in them
- 1.3 Megapixel dual cameras - GPS Module - Built in G Sensor - Player for PC Specification | Main Features | Parts Identification | Software | Installation Dual cameras and built-in mic (1.3 mega pixels) SD Memory Card (Save data / 1GB per 1hour) (internal 2GB / up to 32GB) Built-in GPS (Detect position and speed of vehicle) Play video and audio data (Automatic installation of GOST player) Built-in G-sensor (Shock sensing on 3-axis) Play VGA (24fps / H.264 codec) Night video recording using infrared sensor Updating Firmware (View your driving history on Google Maps) Continuous recording (Set OVERWRITE) Online map (View your driving history on Google Maps) Separated recording (Select to record with both or front view only) Voice Guide (Device gives verbal commands) Manual recording (Use switch to record event at will) Sense intensity of illumination (Automatic adjustment of brightness) Protect recorded events (Select to disallow overwriting important images) Car Battery monitoring (Stops recording to prevent car battery drain) STEP 1 Remove the plastic backing from the double-stick mounting tape on the base of the unit. Attach the recorder so that the camera lens is placed behind the review mirror, as shown above. • Apply force on the double-stick tape for 4-5 seconds to ensure that it is firmly attached. STEP 2 Insert the SD card into the SD card slot on the side of the product. Plug the power plug into the power jack below the SD card slot. • Insert SD card before plugging in power jack. STEP 3 Push the power cord into the opening between the windshield and the roof. If the power cord seems loose, fix it with the provided spacers (in 3 locations). • The cushions cannot be used in all models of automobiles. STEP 4 Continue inserting the power cord along the side of the windshield. (Use a thin plastic object such as a credit card if necessary.) If there is no opening, fix the cord with the provided metal clips and double-stick tape (in two locations). • Remove dirt and dust before attaching the tape. • When placing wires on the windshield, be careful not to damage the windshield with the clips. STEP 5 Open the door on the front passenger’s side and push the cord into the opening in the vertical direction of the dash board. If this does not work well, try fixing the cord with the provided clips and double-stick tape (in 1 spot). STEP 6 Fix the power cord to the edge along the door frame (in 1 spot). STEP 7 Lift up the floor mat and place the power cord to the console box underneath it. STEP 8 Fix the power cord to the console box using the provided clips and double-stick tape. This is the last step of installation. STEP 9 Plug the power plug into the cigarette power socket inside the car. just tell me what you think of it |

Pretty cool that it has a g-sensor; go pro lacks gps, dual camera, g-sensor but will still provide better video quality over the gost camera. an alternative option would be the vholdr contour hd
Contour | Products | Contour HD however, it lacks a g-sensor. |

Of course they have different uses; Where as the gorbiz seems to just be meant for automotive use. GoPro and Contour have roll cage, window mounts for your racing needs.
Plus they record in 1080P. and GoPro can shoot in 3D as well, if you have two. |

gopro is to shoot video of you racing, to make a fun video to put online and share with people.
this thing is designed to record all the time, to provide video evidence when you get into an accident. they're completely different uses.
