As we well know many of us are in school or were at some point, so i was just wondering... Whats your major? feel free to post what school if you want. I'm doing a double major between photography and film. so happy for the break right now.

I wanna get into photography. but i dont even have the money in order to get a jump start. Currently i have no job lol. I do plan on maybe going to UTI or some type of school soon.

Graduating in May with a degree in accounting from Emory in Atlanta. Will have finished all 150 credit hours I need to sit for my CPA exam this summer, AKA I don't have to go to grad school. So ready to be done with school

graduated with another member here (daapsquatch) this last spring with a bachelors of science in transportation design (car design) from the DAAP (design art architecture and planning) school at the university of cincinnati. glad 80-120hrs of school work a week is over...phew now i just need a job

Nice, I'm originally from Cincy and have a ton of friends that go there, one of my good friends actually was in the DAAP program. How many kids are in it? Just curious if there's a chance that you would know him.

oh nice, ya when it comes to daap you usually get to know a lot of people because everyone is always around working and/or partying together. my graduating class was only 5 people. in any case, who was your friend, i was around for 4 years a know a few people

(i was at cincy for 6 years, since i was in aerospace engineering for 2 years, switched to car design, took first year of classes in the summer to catch up a year then had 4 more years).

I have a few scholarships, that i didn't jump on immediately, because i was figuring it out, and any way i did it i could save money by going to a tech school. there are six campuses and i had to make the 23.8 mile drive every morning to Greer 5 counties away because it was the only campus that supports any art major. this spring semester i will be going to the campus that is .3 miles away from my house for half of the week. i can live with that.

the girlfriend just called me. She got a 12,000$ scholarship at Converse, then 2,000$ more when they saw her portfolio, but Watkins hasnt even seen her SAT scores yet and offered her 20,000$. so good for her. shes legit and can get a full ride.

I studied some Mechanical and Motorsports Engineering in undergrad.

I'm currently in a nuclear engineering qualification program at work, and Systems Engineering in grad school. I been keeping myself busy.

So all in all she made 32k? Hate to say it but including Room and board thats only gonna cover a year if that. If she has crazy good SAT scores she should apply for grants too. It sucks how tuition and overall cost to go to a university goes up yet there is no improvement in class availability/class size.On top of that the value of the degree goes down more and more with the lack of availability of jobs. I know alot of people who have degrees and still work at the mall or do something for a living that totally does not apply to their degree due to lack of jobs in the field.
