Online paint shops

Hey Guys:

Ive been doing some googling for the last 45 mins or so and am having trouble finding online retailers that distribute products from companies such as dupont chromax. Does anyone know of a reputable online business to order from? I am looking for an OEM NISSAN color. KG2

thanks

I don't know of any place online, but what about going to the local body shop supply store/paint store and ordering it? I'm sure in Montreal there has got to be a ton of body shop places

um well it depends on what brand and kind of paint. a solvent based paint will be cheaper than water based...way cheaper. water based (from what i've been told) is more expensive because it's a better paint. I'm in the process of getting paint for my car, and i'm going to do it myself so i've been asking shops (and crimsonrockett lol) a bunch of questions.

Thats what ive been hearing as well. I can only use water based paint because that is the only paint permitted by my friend's boss in his down draft paint booth. Ive been told that dupont chromax is a good paint and that c secpter or sumtin like that ( mercedes paint of choice ) is very good as well. WHat brands have you enquired about and have found to be of good quality?

well since i't a DIY job and it's my first time i'm going with a solvent based paint. i figure since i'm going to make mistakes and am teaching myself how to do it...why break the bank? but there's omni ppg, nason, um...there's a lot to choose from. this is where "you get what you pay for" really means something. what kind of clear you get will also affect your final product...i've heard nothing but good stuff about house of kolor..but again it's way too expensive for a noob like me...we're talking 600 bucks for a gallon.
