i haven't gotten to far but there's how it is coming along, i don't have a lot of free time lately, so progress is slow. i haven't decide a color, but im thinking something that is bright as hell. maybe glow in the dark or something. i don't know.

Not sure if you are looking for input, or just posting your work. Either way, here is the turnout on my rear end:

Had it powder coated for durability.

Member: Silver vein

Traction rods, LCA's: Titanium silver metallic

If anything, maybe it will spark an idea or color choice... and your booth is awesome!!!

nice man, that looks awesome, im pretty much set on gold chrome, how did you get the stock bushings out, ive been trying everything and i don really want to burn them. also how much did it run you to have powdercoated?

There is really no way to get them out without using heat. To avoid making messes, I heated up around the bushings until the rubber released its bond with the metal, then they pushed right out with a mallet & cold chisel; with only about 5-10sec worth of scraping leftover residue out per bushing... This is exactly what the directions said to do, and it worked like a charm. The whole process took about 20min for the subframe, and another 20-30 to pop out the rest of the suspension bushings.

Whatever you do, don't follow those ghetto methods involving lighter fluid and lighting the rubber on fire- they do work, but VERY messy and a lot of scraping burnt rubber out lol! The way the directions tell you to do it, the bushings come out nearly whole.

Oh, the powder coating cost me about 300 for the rear (8pcs) and about 200 for the front (5pcs). Expensive, but I love the way it all turned out~
