Scene is cool and pretty varied, however drifting in particular (if important to you) has taken a pretty huge hit in the last few years with the city no longer allowing drift events. southern Hospitality drift just had it's first kind-of-near Atlanta drift event in Cumming, GA - which sold out and was a 2 day event. The "JDM scene" imo is arguably the best in the south east (maybe Orlando or Miami have an argument). Have fun! Great place

There are plenty of local meets in Atlanta. The car scene here is very active. I am going to assume when you say "JDM scene" you are referring to imports, and there are plenty of it, not to mention plenty of good tuning shops who tune and work on then like Top Speed, Mainstream, Forge, and Z1. Z1 holds a pretty koo show every year, Forge does also.
Just a FYI, GA weather is very bipolar. Lol. Latez. |
