CA ca18det Help Please

hey i recently put a new heater core in and ever since i haven't been able to drive the car, it has been overheating :/ ik ive bled the system properly and even tried bypassing the core again because it worked fine before the heatercore. there is a noise coming from the front of the timing case around where the water pump is. ????????????????? idk please someone shine some light i need my car back

Check the play in the front bearing of the waterpump, if it has play your culprit is the waterpump.

there's a small amount of play if you wiggle it but it spins freely, also nothing is going on when i have the rad cap off and spin the pump ?
