s14 fuel pump wiring, help
ok i got everything hooked up to start the ls1, but i get no power to the Fuel pump. nothing, blank. i still need to flash the ecu but the pump should at least prime before ecu shuts off the relay
there are several wires going from the fuel pump. im using an aftermarket relay, now my wire going to the fuel pump needs to be hooked up to 12v POWER wire. i hooked it up to black/red wire but pump will not come on. from reading up some more, i understand that nissan fuel pump is activated by the ground, and GM is activated by hot wire. QUESTION. what are the wire colors/ functions. the fucking FSM has no info on that and im can't find anything on this anywhere, all i find is relay and sr wiring which is useless to me. CLIFF NOTES: which one is power wire for the fuel pump? is it BLACK/YELLOW? what are the colors/functions of others? thanks in advance

The S14 fuel pump relay is ground triggered by the ECU, black/pink wire. The signal wire to the turn the pump on from the relay is black/yellow. That's your 'hot' wire.
The remaining wiring going into the tank is the fuel level float power, sender signal to the gauge, and grounds for the individual parts.

ok cool. i just wanted to confirm this. thanks!
i got my relay wired into 12v switched, along with other relays, ground to chassis and the hot wire goes straight to the fuel pump. i see that i wired it to the wrong wire. my friend used stock relay and thats why he hooked his up differently
