i went under my car today just to look and i noticed its leaking but fucking droping a lot it looks like dark water but also seems like oil ,i checked and there was something on the side of the oil pan (water pump maybe) that was cover in oil .u think my water pump got ruined or what could it be

check water pump, hoses, radiator, etc its definately coolant and it sounds like yours needs to be changed

the water pump its beside the oil pan cause it was cover on oil i also noticeed tha i loose half of the stering wheel fluid

but i noticed only 4 drops came down and then stop but i also checked my oil and its low,car its not overheating tank reservoir its ok but the water its dark a bit

sounds like a 240 to me.

make sure if its leaking water or oil

your waterpump seals might have gone bad, thus leaking through the weep hole.

there is no rep system so im not giving you a link on how to replace it but the pump only costs 30 bucks . its one of the easier things to replace.

first things first. touch it. and smell it. it should pretty much tell you.
if you still can figure it out. check the color. if you can figure it out then..

sell your car. and buy a huffy

your water pump is not next to your oil pan.. wtf?

oil pan is on the bottom.
water pump is on the front.

take pictures.
you sound like you have no idea what you are talking about.

im guessing its your PS hose, which goes bad all the time on old 240's

just take it to a shop and tell them to fix it.... end of story. Chances are if you think your water pump is on the side of your oil pan you dont need to touch it.

LOL i just read this. I need an ECU for a 240. It does not matter what year, 240sx, 240z, they are all the same

Thats not how this automotive system works. Pay somebody to fix it and go back to need for speed carbon.

the new shiny thing is the water pump. there is a hole underneath the water pump that leaks when the pump is blown. the antifreeze is usually green. the pulley is off in this picture.
