i just need to put the shifter back in... i didn't take it out myself, so i'm not too sure how to assemble everything. right now i'm stuck on the c clamps, i'm not too sure how they are supposed to be placed... i don't think it will take long, maybe 20 min. max if someone knows what they are doing, but i don't. i'm near the sunset, so if someone can swing by and help me out, it would be a big help.
oh yeah, i also need to look under an s13 for reference to see if a bracket is bent. |

its real easy... i would help u out but thats a far drive for me just to install a c clip, go get a tool from kragen its easy those 2 holes on the c clip is for a pair of c clip plyers so u can compress the clip and stick it inside into the grove. really simple

there are two c clamps, one with holes and one without. the with the two holes is smaller than the other one. so the big one goes into the groove and the small one goes beneath it? how about the spring?

it's the wave washer.
http://www.pdm-racing.com/installs/s...p/sshifter.htm here's a write up of how to install the OBX shifter. You can see the order of everything. Dont follow the instructions though cause the OBX shifter does not require the c-clips

thanks for the link.
so in order of assembly: wave washer, bush socket, shifter eye c lip, snap ring c lip, and dust boot? so the wave washer first? i think that's what i forgot if that's the first thing that goes in... can anyone confirm |

yeah, i got it mixed up, the spring is the wave washer. so the eye c clip(the one with the two holes) goes before the snap ring clip... right? which one goes into the groove, i'm guessing it's the snap ring. and lastly... the wave washer is the first thing you put in right?
