Everyone I know with a cat-back has had pipe rusting problems.  The only solution I know of is to get custom made stainless piping or buy the Blitz or Apexi _____ (the expensive one - not the N1).

well, all factory exhausts rust, but that doesn't necessarily mean you have a problem.  if it doesn't make a hole, it should be ok.  my old stock exhaust was all rust, but hey, it was 6 years old.

is there ne type of protectant that u can spray on ur piping every now n then to keep it from rusting? this would be for an exhaust that isn't stainless steel, like the dual n1 or fireball i guess.

nothing u can spray or apply to the piping after that happens though to help it last longer w/out rusting? i don't wanna have to replace my piping n tip whenever they rust up all the time.

I suppose u could do a ceramic coating, but that's $$$$, and i've never heard of it on exhaust, so there's probably a reason.
