You're one to talk. My sr20 has been operational for three years, you're still trying to figure out the engine buying process. Btw, if you think you're only gonna spend a couple grand on an engine swap and that's it, then you are sadly mistaken my friend.

Hey, no I haven't received it yet I may have mentioned in the post that it was in Texas couple of days back but it was actually in Addison Illinois any who do to bad weather there were delayed so that's why I haven't received it. The company called and was asking if I was available on Wednesday I said no because of work so I told them Friday.
So it should be here this Friday I'll get some photos up. |

So I'm just going to wait around til Friday. |

Well the delivery guy came back today then for whatever reason while I was getting ready to work to make this long story short I just told the guy I'm going to have my GF sign it off and they said it was okay. It is not the same engine as I saw in the video but I think they actually sent me a real S13 Blacktop
Now I have this mysterious engine in my garage so far the shipping appears to be okay nothing broken or anything...However two if the portion on the harness is cut , 1 from the side of ECU, I don't know much about car so I'm not sure if this is normal but here are the photos. this is my car currently Theres some kind of fur type of thing in the Tranny |

do you have a fat or skinny O2 sensor on that thing?
The 63 ecu is for a red-top, You can run either, I was just wondering why it was cut. Might need to re-pin it. |

This is what phase2 has... also listed what they have done and compressor test on video.
S13 SR20DET Motor Set - Redtop NGK #7 iridium spark plugs New valve cover and spark plug cover seals New exhaust gasksets: Exhaust manifold, turbo inlet and turbo outlet gaskets New radiator hoses (top and bottom) New drive belts (AC, P/S and Alternator) New Clutch kit + rear main seal Check oil pan for any sign of dent, replace if can't be fixed. If a pan is dented severly, take off the pan to inspect the oil strainer for damage. Replace if needed. Upgraded fuel pump New Oil and Fuel filter Short shifter kit + new shift knob New radiator and fan setup if customer bought motor set instead of front clip that does not have stock radiator/fan-shroud setup FMIC setup if customer bought motor set instead of front clip that does not have stock mounted intercooler setup. Upgrade turbo elbow, 3" downpipe, High-flow exhaust with 3" Catco high flow cat or 3" test pipe is recommended but not mandatory depending on end users budget. Well you cant return it maybe sell it local. And buy a new set from other shop. |

Since they gave you an auto redtop ecu you will need the skinny o2 sensor, which means you'll probably need the adapter to fit it in the manifold.

good news is .............................it is a blacktop, but now i am curious about the compression and the bear hair in the tranny?
the throttle bracket kinda looks homemade, kinda hard to tell from pics, and it would suggest maybe it was an auto at one time but idk.............. |

I'll have to check the compression again when I have time, the bear hair in the tranny It look like they just stuffed it in there to keep stuff from getting in, but who knows I mean took it all out didn't see anything wrong looks pretty clean. Quote:
I have an ignitor but one of the end is broken, the CAS I don't even see it in the photo but it appears to be okay when I took a look at it. the coil is okay too, but the ignitor is broken on one of the end |
