There's nothing done to the car, so don't expect much. 240hp at the crank is what you do have. Get injectors, up the boost and get a tune and you'll see more power.

Dyno Dynamics reads pretty freaking low. I was pretty disappointed in my results as well, but after doing research on the dyno, it makes sense.
I had 268whp or 286whp (can't remember which) with a gt2871r .86 at 17psi with HKS 256/256 cams and other things. So I would say you are about right. |

I wouldnt say the DD reads low, it reads what your putting down.
My first tune by Steve Shadows netted me 201Whp. Pretty much the same setup minus 740cc injectors, PFC and 12-14psi. My stock SII RB25 netted me 212.Point is don't expect much from a stock JDM engine out the box, least you have a baseline to see your progression.

I can't agree more. Seems to be just where it should be to be a stock s14 sr. Nothin irritates me more than a few guys i have seen saying that their stock s14 sr with 18 lbs made like 280 or 300 to the wheels. I just laugh because i'm like the damn turbo doesn't even support that much, much less making that at the wheels. So i'm with these guys that I would rather have a dyno that would give me real-world numbers.

I have basically the same mods + maybe a couple extra things..
I have a tubular manifold and 3" turbo back exhaust... 10psi on stock S14 and I made 215 whp 217wtq, so with a couple less mods I'd say you're right on point. |

Sounds about right for the engine and mods.
People hype the shit out of SRs, RBs, etc on forums. It's easy to believe that they all make 300hp with bolt-ons, but it's not the case in reality. |

oh its east to get 300 hp out of an sr with bolt ons, bolt on some pistons and rods, bolt in some valves springs and cams, bolt in some injectors, bolt on a larger prefferably top mount turbo, (dont take the bolting on of pistons and whatnot literally) and then get it tuned easy 300whp all day lol but to the OP you are right where you should be, now you have a great base to be able to see what kind of gains you are actually getting when you do some more intense mods down the road.

Thanks for all the feedback.. I guess i was getting lil in over my head lol But to bump up the power a lil I think im going to raise the boost (14psi), get 600cc injectors, fuel rail, and a exhaust manifold

Don't worry about it as long as the car runs good. It seems dyno's and dyno opperators vary quite a bit. Just had my bone stock redtop (even oem air box and smic) dyno'd on a Mustang dyno a few weeks ago. Made 228whp/207wtq... obviously high and inaccurate for a stock sr... especially on a Mustang dyno.

Did you forget to put your stickers on the car?
j/k. Well is this dynoed on 91 octane or what? Im guessing it is but correct me if im wrong. But 205 rwhp isnt bad, atleast your gonna be able to pick on honda's lol. or just get more HP adders. manifold, bigger injectors etc. |

Your power on a dyno dynamics isn't bad at all actually. For what it's worth, my Evo was tuned on a Dyno Dynamics. A stock Evo is rated at 286hp and on the DD it makes around 230whp-ish. What you made is pretty good considering you have very basic mods.
Side questions: Aren't the SR's normally supposed to run on 98 octane or whatever? I recall when I had my R34 RB25, it said hte minmum was 98 or something like that... if you're running a motor that's rated at 240hp on 98 octane with just 91 octane and still making that much power, I'd be quite happy.
