I plan to start this swap in January. The motor I'm using is a 05 vq35de with 3.0 timing from my wrecked 97 maxima. I plan to use a 95 maxima harness and ecu . So far I have a 03 350z 6spd. I'm going to use the mckinney mounts. I know I have to weld the 3.0 timing ring to the 3.5 flywheel so that I could use the 95 harness. Right now, I'm still in the planning stages. I want to use a q45 or s15 diff for the 3.6 FD. How could I wire up the speed sensor from the diff to read accurately? I have searched and don't really see a lot of information about using a s14 cluster with the maxima harness. I'm under the impression that I will have to get a custom drive shaft because either one of those diffs has a longer snout than the factory casing, no biggie. Any suggestions on the wiring tho?
