I have a good Friend in the Air Force reserves, he enjoys his time and likes his one weekend a month.
He tells me they do fun shit for Drill(the one weekend a month)
The shit they do is usually fun, they BBQ, go bowling, play football, and go golfing.
I'm not saying every reserve unit is like that.But its sounds very relaxed and not very military like
I hope that makes sense. I tried to make it easy for non military people to understand. I was in the Marines.

A friend of mine is in the Air National Guard and loves it. Not exactly the same but pretty similar.

im in afrotc in college. you commission as an officer when its all said and done.
