S14 SR in S13 questions

just two questions i cant find the exact answers. i need answers from you guys with this swap.

what did you do exactly for the intercooler piping? i have the isis intercooler and piping for the s13 sr20, how much modding with other piping was needed?

also where do i get the s14 throttle cable grommets so the cable can work with the throttle bracket since the s13's are too small.

if anyone has input please help me THANKS!!!

I just started piping my SR20 S14 into my S13 today ('89 Fastback), ISIS kit as well. You have to use intercooler piping for an S14 SR20DET, it doesn't matter the chassis type (S13 or S14) when you spec the piping. Redtop piping will not work where the throttle-body meets the IC piping.

You have to modify the inner body panels where the battery box and fuse/relay boxes are to get the piping to fit correct, break out the Sawz-All.

As for the cable grommets... beats the shit out of me.

i have a s14 in my s13. the s14 throttle sits higher than s13 for FMIC piping. so try and get s14 fmic. i did no fabbing to make it work. but since you have the s13 piping. the only thing you'll have to do is make the throttle piping line up.
for the throttle cable i just used two metal washers works perfect.

any other questions PM me.
