Ok.... i have a blacktop SR! it was running fine when i go it! but now! whenever i just punch the car there's a sound coming from where the turbo is... im not sure what it is....but it sounds like a GRINDING sound from the turbo side! my uncle said it could be the Airflow MAF sensor... he's owned at least 6 240's the past 4 years. but if i drive it at regular speed without punching it, it sounds fine. just wanna double check on this! any HELP would be fine! thank you

more info like mods etc...

it doesnt make noise when driving "normaly"?

its the turbo...u got made shaft play and wen u "punch it" it grinds

there are no major mods on it just stock SR t25 turbo, and yeah! it doesn't make no noise when driving normally. just when being punched.

ahaha im just wondering. what are my solutions? Getting rebuilt or just getting a new/used one off of Zivla? one more thing! well this effect my motor?

Boost? im not sure stock is 7lb but i haven't installed the boost gauge or boost controller yet! ahah sorry, i have it but not installed yet.

dont start ur car anymore..take off the turbo first and see if im correct...if so a rebuild or replacement is needed..ur lucky if tiny chunks of metal hasnt gotten into ur motor
