KA once motor warms up, crappy idle and smokes sometimes

ok, i bought a 92 240sx coupe and it has a s14 ka24de motor in it and it ran really good and idled perfect for about 2 weeks. well, the other night i was going home and i went to down shift and i hit the gas and it boggs down and i thought it was going to die. So I pushed in the clutch and was just coasting and the car starts idling at about 2000 rpms. Normal is about 7-800 hundred. I only had a 1/4 tank of gas so i though maybe it was just i needed gas. But after i got gas the car would not start. Cranked good but would not start. so i push started it and it stated. so i drove home and shut it off and it started fine three or four times. and has started ever since. but now once it gets up to operating temp, it sometimes idles high and bogs down randomly if you push the gas in with the clutch in, and if you let it idle for a few mins it idles down and wants to die, and if you give it gas it puts out a cloud of white smoke. but then it don't smoke any more and starts idling high again. I then put new ngk spark plugs in, and did an oil change. it does the same thing. Sorry for my terrible spelling and grammar. thanks in advance.

could be a faulty coolant temperature sensor. It makes the ECU think the car is overheating so it doesn't let it turn on again. I had a similar problem, and it was fixed instantly. $10 part, worth a shot

Dont know about the smoke, may need new piston rings
