Switzer tuned GT-R hit 1201awhp @ 37psi today. This is their R1K-X package for the R35. This is currently the highest horsepower GT-R in the world.

Notice that almost HALF of the power band is OVER 1000awhp!

Car drives exactly like stock, I was there on Tuesday and rode in their R900 and you couldn't tell it had 900hp on tap. Drove exactly like a stock GT-R except the exhaust was a weee bit louder haha.

impressive, but unless it has a redline of 11000 RPM, half of its powerband is NOT over 1000 whp.

It makes around 700 hp by 5000 rpm and raps out to 8000. Thats a pretty good power band. peak torque before 6000, i imagine that car would be nuts to ride in on the street.

You guys are really splitting hairs, while just about anybody here that's in the 500hp range is maxing out, this thing is hitting that at 4700. That's pretty fucking bananas.

The regular R1K package ran a 9.3x @ 160mph bogging off the line. It has also done 0-60 in ~2.6 seconds and 60-130 in 3.85 seconds.

This is the R1K-X.. It should be a 8 second car and trap 170mph in the 1/4 mile. And this is a full weight street car, everything is still intact.
