Those koenigs are the shit, I always looking for koenig, equips and veilside andrew racing when I go on upgarage and yahoo, unfortunately the size that there's at up garage and on yahoo are too big to have them fit under my s14, I have to drift it and also stay at thos stupid italian law that allow me to use maximum of 225/40/18 wheels..maybe I can find the way to fit 235 on rear but not more with 280hp..
I heard people talkin about weight of the wheels, like they can fell the difference of 0.5 kg when they drive.. |

350zs seriously need like 19s or 20s to look right, the fender wells are so freaking huge
and a 350z couldnt fit thoes offsets anyway without some fender work ie barfbag veilside flares |

lol at randomly throwing Work Emotions on that list.
Emotions are heavy bro-ham, nobody cares because 2lbs in wheel weight doesn't matter when you're on Tien/KTS/Stance/Megan/flavor of the week 1000$ chinese coilovers. furthermore, lol at throwing around highschool physics like nobody else knows it and that having Buddy Clubs make you hardcore. Pro Tip: the fastest car on this board is on FN01RCs (Driftstyre)... my grandma could melt toy soldiers into a wheel lighter than the FN, proving that wheel weight is just for losers looking to jerk themselfs off with highschool diploma. |

These are my all time favorites. LXZ is my favorite multipeice, with Mineveras a close second. SA90 Forged, I'd roll 350Z on 18x10.5 19x10.5 Stagger like a boulder down everest. cost like 800$ per so nobody has them, including me =/ |

so fuck a pound, fuck 5 pounds, nothing compares to nice set of wheels sans weight issues, there are a few exceptions (TE, SE, and starform) that are lightweight and look good... but ideally i'd like to think that the part that people always slack on (wheels) should be considered more in effort to "finish off" a car instead of worrying about something they could cure by removing the spare tire to make up for the 8 lbs they added to their setup.... yes true, rotating mass "gains weight" as it rotates but then i'd say, do some fuckign situps and lose some lbs.... also, sidebar - people ALWAYS bitch about wheel weights... so i guess we should all rock centerline wheels.... because they are lighter ... right? |

to go back to ka24dessonethree's point, I don't think he was so much saying that 1 lb of weight should be reason to buy one wheel over another, but rather commenting generally on the focus here on zilvia over wheel sizing
certainly, there are some people who do need to step up from 17x7 +40 crap, but on the other hand, many do not realize that an 18x13 or the like is impractical in most cases. They serve a purpose to look aggressive and fill the wells of big big aero. They are not what you'd run on the track, at least not 99% of s-chassis. KADEesseonethree actually does track his car, unlike the vast majority of people here, and he tracks his car to go fast, unlike the even bigger majority of people here (who aren't going fast, just going sideways). With his goals in mind, a light strong wheel just wide enough to fit his tires is what he should get; if he ran 17x10 all around w/ 215's on his grip car, you'd laugh at him too, as would I. Oh, and to the guy that is purportedly the "Fastest" here according to chmercer...i'm sure everyone would agree that he is fast *despite* running FN's, not *Because* of them. Correlation is not causation- you think he wouldn't post lower track times (a little lower, or much lower,...either way) if he ran a wheel 5 lbs lighter per corner? Lighter wheels are a benefit in every way unless strength is compromised; the only question is whether you're willing to pay the price in looks and money. That is a personal question dictated by goals and circumstance, and I doubt you or I know enough about KADEessonethree to bash him. If anyone would like to prove a point, go to a track and race him. When the person wins, come back and talk shit about his decisions. Fair? |

They did not clear my 30mm Z Brakes. I have no idea what disk they are, but the sizes are 18x9 +19 (Running a 14mm spacer to clear brakes, making them a +5) and 18x10 +13. Tires are 225/40 and 235/40 Dunlop Direzza DZ101's.
