I haven't seen one in the interior thread, but I may have missed it. Even if there was, I highly doubt it was 100% functional. I wouldn't put it past the common 240 owner to just sit it in the dash opening and call it a day. I really wish someone would pay me to do the S2K swap for them, but nobody has ponied up yet.

its not hard at all, specially when your dedicated to it. just get the diagrams and match it up. the speedo converter is only $80
i cant wait to put more work on the cluster, im currently building a dog house right now, i can't stand seeing my dogs outside freezing their balls off. as soon as i get that out of the way, i will finish up the cluster swap, i have so much going on right now. |

call me dumb but what about getting a aftermarket cluster, shouldn't those be custom fit or at least a bit of cutting? or what about getting some digital pods(or gauges) and creating a custom housing for them. i really like the look of these although just something bigger and more "techy" but my favorite part is the digital number and the bar filling up as you go higher especially with rpm gauges like these.

Yeah but I like factory looking gauges and clusters, hence the thread. Anything can be done up with the right fabrication skill. I just like the factory look

currently working out a deal with broadfield on a s2000 cluster with digital boost and oil pressure gauges. i cant wait to get it done. i only have one question, i keep seeing that a vss converter is needed to run a digital speedo but i have a hud model cluster now and that is digital as well so do i need the converter?

A lot of the older gauge clusters look like balls. Can't believe so many of you are actually into it.
This is a great idea for a thread, but unfortunately not many have done actual dash swaps so this thread failed a bit. I'm quite satisfied with my Kouki 180SX cluster. It looks great and works perfectly. Recently bought an S15 cluster to mess around with and I'll give that a go. If I ever get the time and resources I'd want to do an R34 dash conversion. Doubtful, but I'd be willing to go RHD and put in the effort.

i wired up the s2000 cluster and have the tach working with my rb25 as well as blinkers, brights, dim, acurate fuel gauge. I didnt bother with the random lights. Speedo i cannot get to work as the converter (speedohealer) that the honda guys use doesnt like the nissan speed sensor. Water temp i believe you'll need some sort of converter as well.
