Quick timing question

Ok so I pulled my valve cover off to do my timing. I have the crank pulley notch lined up but the exhaust cam gear notch does not go to the one o'clock position with the other one at the 11.

That's because you're a tooth off on the exhaust side!
11 links dot too dot, count them, fix it, set the ignition timing, done!

What would be the easiest way? Taking the exhaust cam off and alining it.

Keep engine at TDC.
Ziptie the intake cam too chain, remove tensioner, and CAS.
Follow Fsm for loosening sequence on exhaust cam, rotate cam 1 toof.
Don't really know if that would be the easiest way, but it's an easy job.

Ran like complete crap. Idle was terrible, fuel cuts while driving, wanted to die. I put it all back together, started it up (started right up), idle was good but at times went lean. Unfortunately I wasn't able to drive it because the valve cover gasket decided to crack in the rear and leak a ton of oil.

I will be updating you guys once my gasket comes in and my Tial wastegate also. My current wastegate is cheap and a ton of exhaust comes out the screamer pipe.

One tooth off with CAS adjustment can get you somewhat close enough to run 'ok' for a bit...however it won't drive normally.

I had one that came in on tme that was a tooth off...boy she spooled fast with the cranked timing, but it fell over so flat!

Can't really tell you yet, i'm running stock injectors because i'm kinda tight on money so I haven't been able to send my ecu for tuning with the new injectors.

Started it up today. Car ran much much better. Still waiting on my Tial wastegate so my current wastegate is leaking.

One problem though.... My vacuum is crazy high. It's reading 25 on my gauge.

Just realized, my boost gauge is at 9 vacuum with the car turned off. My gauge must be what's off.
