ok, this is based on that one thread about the honda vs. 240 thing. from 89-98 there have been approximately 250,186 240sx's made in the states through those 9 years. n honda does about 250,000 civics in just one year. i think that's pretty cool. so basically for every 240sx there is, there r 10 more honda civics on the road. just thought that was interesting.

I think your over estimating the sales of civic's. But yeah that is a interesting fact. Completely different class of cars though, civic is marketed more to be a big seller.

In 2000, Honda sold over 324,000 Civics. Comparing 240SX and Civic sales numbers is BS anyways. One is a compact economy car, the other is a sports hatch. Completely different class of vehicle. |

yeah forget about the civDOG..it was built for one reason to save your ass some gas...and the 240 was bult as a Sports car..so u do the math...

but think about the civic si, it's right in the same performance range pretty much, that's what i think about when i think civic. if they're not in the same "class" then why do ppl always compare my car to it, i think it's just cuz they're both imports. if they're gonna compare it to a honda than i think the prelude would be better b/c the bodies r more similar, still fwd though.
