Odd problem with S14 SR20DET, Doesn't start.

Alright here's whats going on;
I swapped an S14 SR20DET into the car. It was in a friend's car prior to being in my car, he's on the forum; S14Tan. Anyway. I replaced the wiring harness with with a brand new PnP one from Wiring Specialties. I cut/extended the engine bay harness for my v-mount setup, remember it was just extended, not redone. Anyway. I have AEM series 1 map loaded into the EMS.
Key in(off) > Turn once(on) > fuel pump priming > turn another hold > ignition > motor turning > obviously or probably no spark. I let go to stop the motor turning. now it's on the 'on' position > turn to try and crank again > nothing. In order for motor to turn i'd have to start all over. > Off position > on > priming > turn key to crank.

if i let go it's like when you're trying to start a car without the clutch pushed in.
does anyone know what is wrong or what would be causing this symptom? I've checked all my fuses, my relays are untouched.
Need help!

Does it studer a bit?, try taking off a spark plug and smell for fuel, maybe the injectors are not opening, if not this, than check for spark with a timing gun while cranking it *need 2 people for this though

Well I tested the igniter chip last night, two of them since I had a spare, they worked fine. The coilpacks and harness should be tested today or sometimes this week. as for stuttering, none at all. The injectors open up because you smell the fuel from it sitting, pretty much flooding the motor if anything trying to start it. The ignition shouldn't be going bad, the car and motor ran prior to being pulled. Kind of stumped, I'm going to recheck all grounds as well. we have a good amount going around the motor to chassis and 1 from battery terminal.

I meant the actual ignition cylinder itself

Would assume 95 is different from 96-98 due to obd2 not sure if that applies in japland and auto varies from manual just saying

Yeah, I asked Wiringspecialties - where i got the harness from. They said that the S14 SR harnesses should all be the same and should start up just fine. Not saying that it should/shouldn't.
I still need to check the continuity of the coilpacks harness as well.

But as far as that goes where can I go on AEMPro to see if i have a start up map for the MAP i have? maybe that is an issue? But I can be wrong in all aspects. Thank you dallasb53 for your response in trying to help. It is very much appreciated.
