blu808 valve cover
I couldn't find the original thread that was speaking of the service where Luke at blu808 modifies your sr valve cover's baffling to support better crank case ventilation so I made a new thread.
I didnt snap any pics of when I got mine back from him fresh. I sent him an oem blank (brand new, no paint) and he performed the modifications and sent it back to me. He does great work. Here it is after the powder coat. These cell phone pics do it no justice! This is a much smarter way to rout your crank case ventilation over stock and is a much cheaper and easier way to go about it over the s13.4/5 covers. |

Basically, he's doing a similar vent to the S14/S15 covers without having to use one - so it's cheaper.
Pics of the underside?

Yes, and sorry, he comped this one to me for advertisement so I would feel bad showing what he does you know? He has to stay in business so he can keep drifting lol.
I will tell you that there are a few small stratigicially placed holes on the underside. I believe he told me that this service would be around $100 for anyone interested and honestly after you buy the fittings and pay someone to do the welding you might as well help out the man that figured it out in the first place. Welding on cast aluminum isnt something just anyone can do. I am very pleased so far, I just need the right darn an fittings so I can put this bad boy on! |
