Okay, good to know. I am a ME and work mostly in the process and food/beverage industry. Do you have a card or something you could PM me? I travel a lot as well and could use a good welder. Some of the places I see have NO maintenance infrastructure so they are not able to weld on their own.

don't really have a card or anything. It all depends on the money for me. Like right now I'm at 53 an hour which only 36 is taxed and $85 a day for per diem tax free. This is a low paying rig job to. But I kind of just broke out with my truck so it was more for the experience. But still 5k a week(before taxes) is more than enough for me. I'm not greedy. Hoping to jump to higher paying job soon. Starting a rig truck isn't cheap though lol.

Haven't done any actual pipe line jobs yet. That's a different animal. Got to shit and get. But that's the goal. Pipeline code is 1104 which is actually pretty damn easy. You just have to be fast and hot on the line. They will not hesitate to send you on your way. I've done power plants, steel mills, lysine plants, oil refineries, compressor stations. Tig and stick. Stainless, carbon, 9% chrome, and dabbled with monel.

if and when you switch to Pipelining, you'll like it.
welders are mostly contracted so once you get your truck, it's all write offs haha

seen the GTR, looks so good! keep up the solid works!

How's that a burn? I expected him to be within the ages of 20-30, without going back and reading the first fucking post where it says his age (in a roundabout way).

And why does that matter? I made a sarcastic comment about wanting this dude's cars at some point in my life, he mentioned that he's only a few years older than me (already obvious by his timeline in the first post). "Falkon" thought it was some sort of a burn (still don't understand why that would be).

Yea it just depends. Some are contracted some are just hired hands. I still do write offs on tools, FRC clothes and vehicle mileage etc.

Yea I am a nismo fanatic. I plan on having this gtr pretty well nismo'd out. Some parts I will take another path, but nismo parts are usually pretty solid units. Sometimes a little expensive lol.

Small update on some stuff. Got a few small items on the way. Some pretty nice finds. Have a really good one for you all, but will have to wait a month or two for it to be made. Probably the nicest car part(s) I have ever bought

to the pics.

OEM r32 GTR knee pads

OEM option r32 skyline dead pedal cover. Decently rare item

Nismo intercooler. To bad these are discontinued, would like to have a brand new one. 102mm thick (4 inches). I will clean it up a bit, straighten out fins and probably repaint the logo on it so it looks close to newish.

And a super rare OG old school nismo r32/r33 floor mat set. Brand new never used. One of my best wins ever in my opinion.

You know its a good day.

Intercooler is in better shape than I thought. Straighten the fins and maybe a polish, should look nice.

Oil temp is brand new, Water temp is used. Pretty good condition I would say.

Some better floor mats pics. I am blown away at how these things feel. They are super soft. Really nice mats. That have that high class feel haha. Glad I bought them. I will probably leave these off the car unless I'm showing it somewhere. Don't want to ruin these at all.

This pic captures the true color very well. They seem to look really grey in most pics. But they are a rich black color. Riveted nismo plates.

Those mats are nice.

Kind of regret having sold my set, but no use having them sit around collecting dust on a shelf when someone could be putting them to use.

ok guys got a little update. Just got back from a job in West Virginia and had some goods waiting on me. Also, the car should be here around the 28th of this month. It's on the boat now. On to the pictures.

Full Midori Seibi titanium exhaust system with the stainless steel turbo out lets. I got the 90mm version (3.5 inch) and the 90mm decat pipe instead of the 3 inch system with sard catalyzer.

R32 GT-R silent high power NR titanium only 134 made world wide?

stainless steel 76mm 3 inch turbo outlets. Small ding in one, not to worried about it, can't see them anyways.

Titanium front pipe. Weighed it on digital bathroom scale came out to be 3.4 lbs. Plus or minus.....its super damn light. It is twin 3 inch down pipes which collects into 3.5 inch

The complete setup

Nismo rear strut bar

Box #2

ARC titanium cooling panel brand new. Rare/discontinued

Nismo goods!

Nismo white meter DIN gauges

Nismo steering boss, rare discontinued

Nismo boxes, within a bigger nismo box lol

box number 1. This guy must have got knocked loose in shipping or something. The small needle stop fell out and there is 2.5 kilometers on it lol. I popped the needle stop back in. This thing better still work lol. (edit* they are tested to 2.5 kilometers)

box number 2

number 3

number 4

complete set
