Gas Mileage

what kind of mileage are you getting? give a quick rundown of your setup, octane used, etc.

s13 redtop, basically stock, smic, ele fan, no a/c, K&N filter= 25mpg city on 93 octane

I get around 23-24mpg mostly city driving. But that's getting to the speed-limit assertively lol. I have the MBC set to around 12 psi or so.

Heck. I have pretty much the same setup.
I fill up my gas tank full and it only gets 200 miles on it before it's at empty.
I'm not sure how many gallons are in the s14 tank 17?

Can anyone figure my millage out? Is it like 11mpg? lol!

Hahaha you guys.

First of all, this has been discussed MANY times.

Secondly, Wes, you need a FPR - you've got a high flow pump, and are probably running too much fuel.

Thirdly - the S14 takes over 17gals of fuel - ask how I know :/

I run a redtop, GT28R, stock ECU/injectors/maf - my S14 is stripped though, very light, and has full aero (and is pretty low).

I get over 30mpg on the freeway, about 20mpg if I'm on it a lot around town.

I still have the stock FPR for now, and my mileage is just fine, and just changed the spark plugs after 35k miles, and they were perfect. Not running too lean or too rich.

24-26mpg city and 30 highway on my 92 s13 with a 220K mile 95 s14 KA with intake and exhaust, stock bodied with coilovers and a welded diff. 93 octane with up to 10% ethanol. Hate that bullshit, but nowhere around here has regular gas.

I get dick for milage until i get a proper ecu. Im running a s14 sr20, 272 race cams, BC valve springs and retainers, hks exhaust, blah blah. All i know is that it runs pretty rich. Hell, my rear bumper is gettin pretty dirty from it. Thats what i get for running agressive cams on a stock ecu

I get 70MPG.....

On my scooter. And around 25 on a s13 redtop with s15 turbo. Hey GSX Jorden, if you have an after market Fuel Pump and an after market FPR, do you set it at 43 PSI with no vacuum right?

I get 24-26mpg in my 97 240 with S14 SR, HKS intake, tube mani, 3" elbow/dp/cat/NA Trust DD, FMIC, on 10-12psi using 93. I get way better gas milage on long trips, like 30mpg.

My new DD (96 Accord) gets 30-32mpg without even trying, haha, and it takes 85.
