Forged Performance messes up GTR
This is going Viral...Forged Performance very well known shop in the south. Only reason I'm posting this is because apparently it made it to reddit and probably only moments away from getting on Jalopnik

I went through the whole thread.
sucks for that guy... $250k is a UGR lambo. AMS and Switzer packages are even less... i see the owner of Forged once a month, at one of the early morning caffeine and octane meets. he personally drives a 2013 GTR, that's FAST as FUK. i've never see a car pick up so much speed down the street. |

If I spent 250K with a shop or company over the course of 2 years, whether it be on one car or multiple cars, and I'm missing another 30,000 in old parts. Someone is getting sued and I'm going after there entire business.
That thread would be plastered on every major modified car forum, id even try to get that shit posted on the news. A quarter mil is not a laughing matter. Not only is he out 250K, he has to pay a additional 50K+ to get the car where it should have been 2 years ago. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I747 using Tapatalk 2

WOW, just read through it. This is why I am always scared to let other people do work on my cars.

What I don't get... is why the fuck it is so difficult for FP to "bolt" stuff on? I read that other story, the GTM kit on the G37..
How is it so fucking difficult to put a Kit on a car, that so much shit went wrong. Are there workers blind folded? are they Monkeys? I mean I have seen better work from a one armed man with no fingers..... If it was my shop, and I was the owner, I would personally inspect each and every car before they are given back to their owners. it shouldn't take more than 30-45 minutes to inspect everything if you move diligently. That shop disgusts me, I could do better work out of my garage with hand tools and a car jack. |

The worm clamps is what gets me. He's spending more money at your shop than people make in a year and your using autozone clamps. I'm almost certain any high end Japanese manufacturer at least sends you T bolt clamps or V Bands especially something like JUN. I know my inter cooler kit, along with a few other parts I had came with T bolts out the box. That just disturbs me. Then to charge the guy 10 man hours to modify his kit and all you did was throw on washers to space it out? Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I747 using Tapatalk 2

And It looks like the fuel "upgrade" was welding on bigger bungs at the end of the rail and nothing else. And it's a sad state in a shop's life when you can Honestly say Chinese ebay parts have better welds than that shit. If you read the G37 build by forge, it's just as bad. If it was my car, and the shop Chopped up my front bumper, and didn't even put in a tranny cooler, that is grounds for a lawsuit by itself. I'm sure that Front bumper is expensive as hell. I read all pages on both hack-job builds, and all I can say is Forge needs to be permanently shut down, or moved to China. |

And Even after all that hacking and grinding the 02 sensor is sitting 5mm away from the driveshaft and his plugs are ziptied together. And then the sleeves in the block are all mismatched as fuck... how the hell can you not see that before assembling the motor!?
I really don't understand wtf that Sharif guy was/is thinking. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I747 using Tapatalk 2

Just read his replies, it's obvious that he doesn't do any of the work. He hires some random ass tech with probably 2 months experience working on lawn mower's, and when shit goes bad they get fired. |

How stupid do you have to be to let someone lead you on for 22 months? That Guy is a idiot and I hope he learned a lesson. Build your own car.

wow, I could, do and have done better work than that and I still don't have the balls to charge for work like that...
He should be ashamed to even look the owner in the eye much less give him back the car that way...

This is some shocking news to hear. I always thought FP was a legit company. I haven't read the full thread yet, but has to be some explanation behind this.
Allegedly the guy is a pro footballer. There are a few of them that drop off cars at shops like this for months. Also wouldn't expect him to have the time or will to build it himself.

Wow those pics are hard to look at.
If you ever watch any of the videos out there made at Nissan about the incredible engineering and meticulous assembly that car goes through those pics are enough to make your skin crawl. Such a shame to destroy an amazing car that only a select number of Nissan employees are even allows to build or work on. And these fucking hacks get a hold of it. Ouch.
