camber plates?? TEIN?
so i am gettin some camber plates for my S14 and it looks like the Tein would be the best bet. seems that everyone is running them too, and heard only the good stuff about it. but why did u choose the TEIN over the others?
my buddy has cusco and he hated it. so, who is running TEIN and how u like them? are u running with stock struts (cause i just have springs on mine with stock struts)? also another important question is how much camber can u get with them with the stock stuts. i know with a coilover u can get llike -3.5 tops but would it be different with the stock ones? the cheapest i found them for 170 i think, any cheaper? thanks for the help

I bought Tein camber plates because I have tein coilovers on my car...stupid SuperStreets did not come with upper mounts. The twin-tube coilovers are a good step up from basic shock and spring but I now regret not saving up for monotube shock coils like JIC's, I was only a few hundred away!!

Im still stumped though...how would the plates be able to adjust shock(assuming the shock body is moved as a whole) height if the shaft does not have any kind of thread to hold in place on the camber plates? Am I the only who doesn't get it?

hmm...so in the case of someone not having damper adjustment (me with tein basics) I could have the coilvers set at a stock height, but then lower the height using the KTS plates, but would that make the ride softer since the KTS method doesnt affect spring preload?
