I am testing the compression on my s13 sr20det, I want to know what the amount of full cranks i need to do to get an accurate reading. I am doing 5 cranks right now and got these readings. 145 -140-145-145 being the first reading is the pistion closest to the radiator.
please help because i need to know how many complete cranks i need to do to get the proper reading. |

Your compression is good, the main thing is to make sure the values are reasonably close to one another. Your readings could be low because of a crap gauge.
Previous poster is right, crank until the pressure stops going up. |
