2009 MLB Season Thread
Spring Training time, a few more weeks and the official start of MLB is under way. Good thing we have the WBC here for the time being. \
Let's get the ball rolling... your favorite to win the World Series this year? Of course, for me it would be the Yankees. |

Manny Ramirez finally signs with the Dodgers for 2 years. About damn time.
With that said... go Angels. I don't really follow baseball until September rolls along. |

A-Rod has always been a tool in my opinion, along with Jeter. Matter of fact, I hate the whole Yankees organization.
Too bad the MLB doesn't have a salary cap, or the Yankees wouldn't have won so many Series. |

Phillies here we go =0! They just mailed me my season tickets for the year Tuesday!!
If the Yankees don't atleast WIN their division this year there is something SERIOUSLY wrong with the organization. With all the money they are throwing at their problems they are gonna be some real trouble if they can't beat the Sox. The Rays were a total fluke last year IMO

Baseball players are underappreciative, Overpaid bastards. I say let them roid it up all day, If they get millions to play a sport they love i want to see a 120+mph fastball or a 750ft grand slam! Let them ruin there bodies for getting the amount they get paid! |

Why is it a shame? Team USA really isnt geared towards this whole tournament. Actually I'm suprised they made it as far as they did. For one we have the long offseason where other countries are playing practically the whole time up until the WBC. On top of that team USA is all about the politics, everybody gets (somewhat equal) playing time, doesnt matter if your on a 4-4 tear or your 0-4. Either way I love the WBC, I wish our country was more like some of the others (Ven, PR, Kor, Jap) getting all into the game. Having fun with it and seriously pulling for your team to win.

awesome, watch this turn into a Yankees thread since i'm the only one posting LOL anyway Andy Pettite is on the mound and he's gonna do great this year despite his age. sure he did roids, but he admitted to it. unlike that other useless Yankee(s) named Clemens and Rodriguez. i swear if Jeter comes out and starts saying he did stuff, imma convert to a Nationals fan.

More than likely hahaha, cubs fans are a strange breed, every year they talk shit and hope, but at the end we just end up saying maybe next year. And Johan is a beast

it saddens my heart. Knowing us SOCAL people, we dont give a shit.
apparently its not a "steriod". have to wait a bit to see what exactly triggered a positive test. I've been disappointed with baseball for a long time. They have been handling the sport like a bunch of dumb fucks. |

LOL @ the Dodger fans. Manny played with your front office for so long wanting to get more money, and then he pulls off something like this. What a great guy.
