Hi my name is Apu (Dont own any convenient stores, my dad owns a beer distributor). Im almost 19, looking into 240sx's and 300zx's. I have roughly 10 grand altogether and Im spending no more than 7 grand on the car itself and the rest is on insurance, gas, and surprises. It's nice to be here and meet people.

New Member from Cincy Area
Hey all, I'm new to the forums. From the Cincinnati, OH area. I'll be picking up my first 240 next weekend, and I'm pretty pumped about it. Up until now I have always been mostly a Honda guy. My last project was a 97 Lexus SC400 and I had to let it go unfinished due to being laid off. I know my way around a car, definately not new to wrenching but I am new to Nissan's so I'm sure I'll be asking for advice here and there.
I have no pics yet of the 240, I went to look at it in the dark. I'll post pics up as soon as she is in my lot, but it's a red 93 HB 5 spd, totally unmolested, zero rust, 100% stock, and ready for an rb swap. Forking out $2500 for the car only because it's virtually impossible to find a 240 in this good of condition around my area. Can't wait to get started on it, and I look forward to your alls opinions and advice. I will be on here regularly so I'm sure I'll get to know everyone. |

Welcome to the site, it depends on what kind of info you are looking for. Searching through the tech talk thread is where you want to start as we have covered many topics there already. You have a 98% chance of getting all of your questions answered through searching. http://zilvia.net/f/tech-talk/ If that doesn't do it for you, you can ask the small questions thread here: http://zilvia.net/f/chat/297481-smal...w-threads.html And if things are still not going for you, make a new thread as a last resort. Good luck! |

Hi, not new to the forum but decided to start posting. I'm located in the STL. I'll tell you a little about my projects.
1989 240sx SE: 150,000 KA 5spd all org, every option and all working very well i have collected tail lights, perfect dash, quick release and wheel, gauges, leds, gauge pod, Broadway mirror, strut bars 3pcs, Nismo shifter, 2008 Lancer GTS: 40,000 Auto (daily driver) tint, Eibach springs, strut bar, F1 tires, Broadway mirror, K&N air intake I have been trolling since '09 but just got my first 240sx about 2months ago. I have built other customs and tuners but never a 240sx. I am best at body and interior work. Still learning about the motor stuff but have learned the most about SR20DET form Zilvia. Keep a look out for my build thread. |

240sx Newbie
Hey Everyone, i just purchased a 1990 240sx hatchback. I'm really loving this car, and working on it. I'm a ticketed steel fabricator and have already made some strut bars that cost me $50 bucks total and my work, I'm interested in fabricating a tension rod brace. Anything tips to look out for? Oh hey what do u guys think of those fender braces, worth it?
Cheers |

I've been driving Nissan all my life but this is my first 240. trying to get into the whole 240 scene. I bought a 95 240sx se with an rb25 swap already. Don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing but I join Zilvia.net so I can learn more about this setup and how to release the rb25det's potential. He was telling me all the parts and mods that was done to the car but it was not written so I have to look at the part to tell. well hopefully it will stop snowing so i can start working on it.
P.s. does anyone know of a good shop to take my 240 and get some advices here in Albany, ny thanks |

Yo! I'm Jake, I just picked up a white 96' 240sx yesterday. It's completely stock at the moment but I have plans for it. (wheels, coilovers, few aero pieces, and a SR or LS1 swap). I sold my 06' Evo9 to afford to finish my college degree so I figured I would pick something up that I could build over the next year or so.
