When I get tired of listenin to the ol' i-pod, I tend to listen to a few trip-hop every now and then, such as Portishead and Massive Attack. Basically, I listen to whatever i'm in the mood for. Alternative/Indie and whatnot one minute, and then some Mark Farina and his mushroom jazz another minute.. then maybe some Dragonforce (though they go way back when(?), was introduced to this music by the squidd a month or so ago ), and then some Paul Oakenfold, Tiesto, ATB kind of shiz.. etc..you get the point, hehehe.

Clipse - Best Of: We Got It 4 Cheap!

Overall, this collection of the best of the We Got It 4 Cheap! series is real hot, I've got this on constant rotation, and it never gets old. Pusha and Malice have honed their flow, and their delivery is pretty bananas. Team that up with Pharrell and its a done deal. I never get sick of them talking about how much money they have or drugs they move either. Clipse is the TROOF! I'm not a super big fan of Liva, but he does put down some decent flows, but delivery compared to Pusha or Malice is no comparison. Sandman is on the mixtape too, but same like Liva, Clipse 's combined flow puts them to shame. Get this album.

1. Mr. Me Too - The heater, beat is straight fire, very addictive. First time I heard this track on the radio I thought it was weak, especially being the first single from the Clipse x Pharrell camp, but after a couple spins it was bananas.

2. Re-Up Intro - R-E-U-P, G-A-N-G! Beat is hard, makes the trunk rattle ridiculous. Pusha T spits fire, and so does Malice.

3. Coast To Coast - Used that Kanye beat from the Boost Mobile commercial.

4. What's Up - Used the "Put You On The Game" Timbo beat, and I gots mad love for The Game so instant repeat. Pharrell blesses the track, flow is aiiight.

5. Queen Bitch - Pusha drops the a hot verse "Jeepers creepers, the face on that presidential, have a n*gga screamin out Jesus Chris-to!" gotta check it out, even though its over the Lil Kim beat, which I'm not super fond of.

6. Hate It Or Love It - Ehhh, did they really have to use this beat. Flows is clean in the track but ehhh I heard the 50 x Game beat wayyy too many times. Hate it.

7. I Shot Ya - LL beat, that old school fire. Good listen.

8. Play Your Part - ehhh, listened to it once, skipped to next track.

9. Stay From Around Me - I forget where this beat is from, but damn, lovin that beat, I think its Kanye? According to Pusha, this song is for all those "driving that $100,000 dolla shit, tryin to get to that $450,000 dolla shit" haha. Mellow but clean joint.

10. Roll With The Winners - same as #8, not sure what beat they used

11. Mic Check - I listened to it once through, but had to change it the next time cause I thought I'd hear Juelz Santana say "EHEY! 1-2, 1-2!" and I don't like that shit.

12. You'll See - Skipped this joint, wasn't feeling the beat.

13. I'm a Hustla - Same as #11, I was scared Cassidy was gonna jump in at any momentn and start singing the hook and doing the stupid "Hustler" dance. Next.

14. Cross The Border - I thought this would be the other Cross the Border beat (i.e cross the border ma-ma beat) but it wasn't. Next.

15. Ultimate Flow - Biggie beat, Pusha, Sandman and crew blaze it.

Lady Sovereign - Public Warning - What I find myself listening to the most right now. Not as good as the EP imo but very entertaining, a little bit too polished.

Brazilian Girls - Talk To La Bomb - for those with an ecletic taste or don't mind Portuguese being thrown into their alt rock.

Fergie - The Duchess - what can I say? I was bored. Rip off of a lot classic 80s hip hop and way to saccharine. Musically all over the place as she doesn't have a brain and relies on whatever guest producer she could get to give her 'style'. Gwen Stefani should sue for career infringement.

Goldfrapp - We Are Glitter (remixes of Supernature) - Love Supernature but this one is just too experimental and weird. Still worth a few listenings.

Weird Al - Straight Outta Lynwood - whenever I need a change of pace.
