ka starter ?

ive ben searching for the threads about using a KA starter internals int he sr20det casing

i know ive seen it on here and i juss cant find it , anyone have links to the write up , im pretty sure i need to do it but i dont know what to replace

I read something about it once, a long time ago. I believe it was an SOHC starter or something. But I'm not really sure either.

pretty sure sr starter is different.

I read that you use SOHC internals, in the SR housing.

Both starters must be Hitachi as well apparently.

Both of the starters must be Hitachi ..the sr being 23300 52F00 S114-705A
and the sohc ka one being 23300 30R01 S114-519A.

Just repeating what I've heard, can't speak from experience.

yea from what i remember it has to be the hitachi starter and its the gears and the solenoid that i think is swaped out but im not sure

cuz the sr starter i have if gone and if im not mistaken i can just swap out stuff with a ka starter

seems like alot of people look at this thread and are either wondering the same thing or this subject is still up in the air as far as working or wat?

lol yea i was scratching my head on that one , the benifits of a working starts . hmmm lol
