Looks like a TT. In the shape it's in I don't think I'd want to pay more than $2000 for it tho. Anything with the body that's that beat up can't have great mechanics either.

knowledge is power, if you don't know WHAT the car is, how can you assess it's VALUE?

Good luck... maybe find out more and repost here

ok I just went and took another look:

car has 174,xxx miles
it is a TT, Manual
Was told the water pump was bad and has been replaced

Has been sitting so would need a battery to check if it can fire...I may go back next week and see if it fires and how it runs

so basically other than the driver side front fender, The car is supposed to be in good running condition.

they want 1800

That's sounds like a steal, any running TT for $1800 is worth the purchase assuming your ready to spend thousands on top of that to get everything just right. Good luck!

Its not worth it unless you have a lot of money to dump into it.

You're better off buying a running well taken care of TT.

Well if def would be a slow project, I have a DD that is more than reliable (2012 Kia Optima SX) so I would basically be building this car over time into a decent toy car 400-450hp would be enough for me

Go there with 10 100 dolla billas yall. 1000$ and bring it home. Worst case scenario.... You sell the rear diff for 100 calipers and brakes for 400 BMC for 100 Maf for 60 and part the turbo motor out and make a few grand. Win win.

Id offer 1400 at most. Zilvia is weak for z32 info.

Check out 300zxclub.com or twinturbo.net

$1800 for a running 300zx is a steal. If you can get the car for less, great. However, don't think that this will be a cheap project just because the car itself was cheap. I highly recommend doing a compression test though to make sure the cylinders are within spec.

More than likely you'll realistically need to do a 120K timing kit, replace the EFI harness, fuel injectors, fuel hoses, power steering hose and suspension right off the bat. Your horse power goals are easily obtainable, but you'll have to pay a lot more to reach that goal. Luckily there are a lot of shops that cater specifically to the Z32 and continue to develop new parts for it. Be sure to check out SpecialtyZ in CA if you do purchase a Z.
