I want to know what they used to model/layout all the pie cuts. That is hours and hours of welding right there, jeez. Are the CLR too tight they couldn't use mandrel bends?

QFT. That is ridiculous!
I keep thinking to that exhaust you showed me at your shop Luke, and how just something like that would cost $10k. Can't imagine how much the full manifold/muffler/etc cost.

That system looks amazing. I honestly go on honda-tech just to look through their fab section. They have so many top-notch fabricators there. I wish we had a fab section filled with that much badassery.

^^ I also frequently fallow the honda-tech fab section and yes they do have great stuff but honestly this tread has a lot of great fabrication too. Have you follow this tread since the beginning? Well i have!! Have you seen the orange Camaro (i think it was a Camaro) exhaust that is posted almost at the beginning of the tread? I have not seen anything like that anywhere else. But as you said there are pretty good stuff too.

I love that exhaust Luke and have to think it even took more time than that. That whole car is super badass. I had to make a E30 M3 S14 3" exhaust a few months ago and it reminded me of yours but obviously on a much smaller level

![]() Chasis went to a guy that is going to set it up a tad differently. Suspension, Brakes and all that jazz went to another friend that needed it for his S15. All in all I came out at about 75 percent of what I put into it, but that is to be expected with the amount that was spent on consumables and is better than the norm and I still have a few parts left. When I am actually in the U.S. I am considering something along the lines of a 350Z for a project, but I have not made up my mind and I am still a ways away from coming back (going to Afghanistan after I am done here in Iraq in June) |

For HPDE s14. Switching from KTS to koni 8611-1257 double adjustable inserts. Got old prototype housing with new ears from veilside180sx. Ground down the old ears and welded these on. 150A, 3/32nd filler, 15cfm Ronald |

Thats what a friend said. He was saying I should submit it to a commercial that shows things resembling smiley faces.
Here is some older work, was and am still developing my technique. Self-taught. I'm a slow learner. .063 T6. Basic cutting tools. Wish I had a press shear. There was no planning involved. Just cut and welded on as I built it. Lets call it the red headed step child in the closet. I swear the next one will be more attractive! ] |

Welded my fittings on today, couldn't do the one side due to not having the right fitting and the stock hole location would work with the fitting I had. So I just blocked the one hole off and relocated it. Not bad for my first time tig welding aluminum.

FYI: MAP TORCH running in circular pattern around the weld sight will do. I bought a 200* temp stick to give the okay when ready to weld. -Ronald |
