I live in Florida and I've ran w/out the crank fan for about 3k miles.  The gains are not worth the long term consequences.  You must rewire the condensor fan or better yet, purchase an additional high flow efan.  Remember, engine longetivity will be seriously affected (component life reduced).  Better power results at 180 degrees not 220 or higher!!!
