allows you to have the pedal floored but the motor will not pass its set RPM, also timing is taken away to build boost

So only kind of "comfort" thing, that makes your life a bit easier?
As I said, I don't need boost off the line yet... |

timing isn't just taken away, it is decreased into the negatives, somewhere between -5 and -10, to combust when the exhaust valve is open. Thats why you get all the fire along with anti-lag. 2 step is just a early limiter set within your ecu to shut off at a determined rpm or clutch pedal release. |

I try to launch on stock rev limiter but it doesn't built positive boost at all. I am thinking using rev limiter as cheap way for no lift shifting. I have rush anti lag but I am afraid to use it as I heard horror stories about it.

i hope to get my sr s14 out the drag strip soon. i ran a 8.45 in the 1/8th the day i got it with my 26" slicks off my Z on it. and since then i replaced the clutch and raised the boost from 7 to 15 and fixed a bunch of other issues so im hoping for some 11.9-12.2s. but we will see.
i got a 1.74 60' on my 26" m&h dot slicks on a xtd clutch that was in the swap when i got it.

Hey santos good luck saturday. Do you have line lock? It looks like nisssan have 2 line coming out from master cylinder. Most cars have only 1 line that teed into 2 for left and right. Is anybody make line lock for 2 in 2 out?

Great thread!
Question for you guys is what wheel/tire (other than those of you who have posted) setup are most of you guys running? I have a set of NA supra wheels which are 16 x 9 and I am not sure which tire to go with. I am thinking I will pick up some 26x11.5x16 for the rears and contemplating running 17" GTO spare wheels in the front with like a 17x4.5 tire. What are you guys using as a setup in the front? FYI, this is going into an S14 body. Q45 3.69 LSD, 300zx TT axle + Q45 axle, Z32 TT Hubs. |

unless you are a big brake front like me then theres no need for the 17" unless you want the look. I am running the 17" alumastars with the M&H Radial 185/55. I needed a spacer to clear my Brembos.

I have z32 iron calipers and z33 12.75 rotors up front. I looked at the Alumastar 17's that your running but I found a local junkyard that has 2 GTO's that both have the spare tires for cheap.
I was leaning more toward the MT tires but I am open for suggestions. Amberly very clean setup. |

I like the way this thread is going. It is about time there are more people on this forum that do more than drift their 240. Amberlys13 that is a sick setup, is that a borg warner s374? I am going to run a mazworx sr22 motor with a borg warner s366 and I am shooting for 700+whp on e85, and then see how much it can make on c16 race fuel.
Let's keep this thread alive.
