R32 Insurance?

Hey guys I have searched for a while now. I own an R32 GTR registered in florida as a "Skyline GTR" not a kit car.

The car was brought in and registered by an RI at the DMV.

Anyone own one of these and what insurance do you have?

I don't own one, but I met a guy who has a 180sx who uses haggarty for his insurance. I've checked them out, and while the prices are great, you must own another mode of transportation, a lockable storage structure, can't drive it to work, etc.

So tell progressive that I have a grey market vehicle?

I spoke with them about a value stated policy but when I asked them how they would determine actual market value they stated that tey couldn't tell me.

I dont want to pay a bunch of money and then the car gets stolen and im screwed.

I would rather insure the car at a value of $100 and save all the extra insurance money myself incase something happens.

Advice?

You'll be required to get the car apprised as it carries no official listed value.

Send a message via AIM to fliprayzin240sx
Man, I wonder if DOT is still snooping around the DMV for "skylines".
