I will be moving to Charleston area in January. I was wondering what everyone is paying for insurance out there? Also any shops in the area that tune sr20? Thanks

I know that this is a late post but just incase someone else checks it here you go.

The insurance for my 240 through State Farm is something like $600 a year I think.

There are 3 shops that are in the Charleston area that I know of. GSC, Showzone, and AV Engineering. The ONLY one that I would trust my car with is AV. Anthony who owns the place is a f'ing genius with tuning (esp AEM standalones) and engine building/fabrication. Absolute top notch shop. Do NOT EVER EVER take your car to Showzone. They're that shop that literally sends out cars with twisted together wiring. They handle most of the underglow neon installs for the area if you know what I mean. GSC in the past was a good shop and still is great for parts but they've put out some shoddy work here and there that I've seen personally on some friends cars. Have fun at the beaches!
