sweet man, glad to hear it's running now, tuning it where you're really gonna get it pulling hard though.

I don't think you really care, but i think it's funny that all these people are raggin' on ya about bs like the intakes and whatnot. Obviously, they are a prototype, and could be replaced down the road with something more bling if desired...

In short: keep at it man, your project is anything but cookie cutter and i respect that completely!

Saw this car at lowered case saturday.. figured it was a POS because of the cut out hood and what not and walked off. Heard it start up a bit later and realized... was kinda like, "Oh SHITTTTT" LOL.

Hadn't seen this thread before until now, so I had no idea.
+1 for doing shit differently, even ghettttto-fied.

Sorry I haven't kept yall updated, been running around with my head cut off...

I took the car to Lowered Case whenever that was and it drove awesome on the way there, but then we found the flaw in my cooling system. That spewed when I got there my pressurized system laughed at my half assed hose clamps. After fixing that we found my next problem... since this is suppose to be a track car, I never ran an alternator. Well my battery died and wouldn't charge so the car wouldn't stay on for more than a minute at a time. So currently I'm working out the bugs and I'm waiting for parts to run an alternator. Also blew my daily up so I bought a new one, so money is real tight right now.

Since I'm still low on fundage, I decided to play around with stuff I had laying around and basically gave my car a full interior from hatch cover to dash... I'm still missing a couple little things but it feels like a street car again!



I found another problem with the car in the fueling system... I'm replacing the current pump and regulator with a Walbro 255 and a boost referenced return style pump. While I'm at it, I'm running a MSD 6AL, MSD Dizzy, and new plugs. Should be a lot more peppy after I get done with all the mods... I'll try to keep everyone updated as parts come in...
