KA KA24E Harness question

I had poor gas mileage that gets 19 mpg for freeway mile. After i searched in this forum and i found most of them were caused by the bad coolant temp sensor. I tried to swing around the harness and magically it just like playing music, the rpm goes up and down. In some case, i can hear a cycling sound come from motor too (Does anyone know what it is? it was there for a long time, i finally clear it by playing with wire harnesses). However, it just never be perfect. After play with it for a long time, it finally settled. I also discovered that my MAF sensor harenss seens mass up too. If i bend the wire in some angle, the car might stall too. That indicated that the harness was bad. So my question is that does dealer still selling the ka24e engine harness? If so, how much? IS it worth for me to swap the harness since i have 23k miles on the motor already? What is the average labor cost for swap ka24de in southern california (i dont have money for SR yet)?

now my idle speed is either at 700 (swim up and down with some vibration) or at 1000.

Sorry for the long post BUT thanks for reading and attempt to help

Well if you're good with an digital volt ohm meter, disconnect the maf plug, and measure c ontinuity for each wire that goes to the maf and measure about a foot away for continuity and have someone jiggle the wires.. if there's no continuity, repair the connection.

Usually bad air flow meter = drivability problems, hesitation, backfire, no idle
Bad oxygen sensor = poor gas milage
