Built to Spill - They are the best band in the universe, they finally toured near me and I heard them in concert a few weeks back. They didn't miss a single note, even from songs they made back in '93.

these arent really that unknown, especially fucking ZAO. I've got all these bands on my playlist, and you've got a pretty good taste in music. Also, if you liked Between The Buried and me, pick up Azazel and Prayer for Cleansing, the 2 bands that were what made up BTBAM.

I'm listening to Wintersun right now, but they're pretty popular.

Yea I know some of those bands arent. But I didnt feel like writing em all out I just copied the music list off my myspace. lol. but some of those bands arent popular, im sure not many people know about dahmer. or carpathian forest. But yea thanks... I listen to alot of grindcore & deathmetal. And i love alot of the underground norwegian blackmetal also. And I have a Prayer for cleansing cd.

You guys should check out Nightwish. Theyre kinda like a rock/opera fusion. Ive heard people say theyre similiar to Evanescence..but theyre WAY better then Evanescence.

Robbers on High Street

Others I enjoy a LOT:
Nada Surf (all-time fav)
Minus The Bear (Dave is hands down best guitarist ever)

Lately, I've been listening to a lot of Coldplay (first album) and Beck (mutations) though... don't know why, just goes along with my mood.

hah, I used to like Cryptopsy a few years ago, not a shitty band.
Carpathian Forest is fairly popular though, but for good reason.

PFC is a local band for me, it was a shame when they played their last show like 5 years ago, then came back for a reunion show, and there were tons of newjacks there.
